popAI 2nd Plenary & Review meeting takes place in Dublin

The popAI project has had its Interim Review meeting which took place successfully on Tuesday 25 October, in Dublin, Ireland. The meeting was hosted by partner Trilateral Research and co-organised together with popAI Coordinator NCSR Demokritos, including progress presentations from all Work Package Leaders and participation of all popAI partner representatives. The review and meeting with the project’s External Experts and European Commission Project Officer concluded with appreciation of popAI work and deliverables together with constructive comments for improving popAI performance and minimising risks connected to a dense schedule ahead until the conclusion of the project in one year.

The review meeting was combined with a Stakeholders Workshop and the popAI plenary meeting on the 26th of October, with the latter focusing on the planning of the 2nd period of the project.
The Stakeholder Workshop, titled Inclusive Ecosystem of AI for Civil Security and popAI Policy Impact shared views on popAI output on practical ethics and policy recommendations together with the popAI Stakeholder Advisory Board and representatives from AI sibling projects ALIGNER and STARLIGHT.
